How I Am Making Money Online

Just to be upfront, I do have a full time job so making money online is a hobby and for building for retirement.
I will talk about my experience only and the sites I am using and how I have found them.

Tsu is my favourite for socialising
Tsu Invite
I have several accounts on there now, so if you join, I will send friend requests from all of them.
Tsu is very similar to Facebook, but you get paid. You post like you would on Facebook and you can link to your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts so you don't need to post twice. I am very selective about what I post to Facebook as I know my friends do not want to see an endless stream of pictures of food!!! On Tsu, I post everything. Food is a really popular item and quite regularly get shared, so if you can't think of anything to say, post a picture of your lunch and comment on what it is.
So, how does Tsu work, here is an easy to understand image

So, you need an invite, the inviter becomes your parent, and the invitee is the child. My link above provides an invite, just fill in some very quick details, confirm your account and away you go, start posting, start earning.
Now, this is not a get rich quick scheme ... you will not earn Tsu $100 by posting a picture, you might earn them 1 cent to start with, and you will get half a cent ... You need to spend the first 2 months building your profile, making friends, following key people, and learning from the great tips and advice that gets posted. And lastly, you need to bring in children, they are key to your earnings, otherwise you are solely dependent on your own activity. And, it is much more fun if your friends in real life join.

Thumbzz.com
This site was good to start with but they have hit a few glitches that I think they are coming out of. This site is where you do microjobs for companies to give opinions on products. It is really easy to use and I do reccommend joining but as you get higher rated, you will find less and less jobs. You can cash out at $100. I am currently stuck at $94 as there have not been any high rated jobs recently. Once the high rated jobs pick up again I will be able to cash out.
Join Thumbzz

Chatabout
This site is great, but needs lots of time. Here you can watch videos, do surveys, comment on conversations and you earn points for each. There are all sorts of things to do on here and there are lots of people that use it everyday to top up their cash. You can cash out at $5. To get to this value you will need to earn 1000 points. To get a jump start everyday you need to do some surveys as they regularly give 18-35 points. Set up your Daily Target as well as this will give you some bonus points everyday. It only takes about 3 days for the cash to come through.

Mooching Around Etsy Again ...

Look what products I found on Etsy, vintage inspired handmade bridal pieces. These are handmade in San Francisco, California, by 2 lovely ladies.

They use vintage pieces and new elements to build the necklaces. There are all sorts of Czech crystals, swarovski crystals, vintage jewels and all sorts of other shiny components.

You can purchase them on their Etsy webshop via this link

Brass Boheme

And these are some of their combs and clips that they make. Wonderful. Get shopping!!!

I have been making ...

Have made a few hair clips / brooches today.
They have a setting in the back for both so you can wear as either.

As you can see from the second photo I usually sell these for £10 but I think I may have a bit of an online sale before I take them to a craft fair.

These can be purchased at shcreations

Just Found An Amazing Jewellery Shop ....

Just wandering through Etsy and have found some of the most amazing amd colourful gold and platinum jewellery that I have ever seen.
I have heard of rose gold but these colours are magnificent, what does everybody think? Would you buy one of these pieces?

I want to buy one for each finger, or maybe for everyday of the year.

These pieces are all available from a seller on Etsy, here's the link.

Decluttering to make a study /studio

Finally, I have cleared out the spare room so I can turn it into a studio / study and get back to my handmaking business. Did the last bits today, I want to decorate but for now, at least I have adesk and can see the floor. Here are some before and after pictures ...

Before .....

After ....

And now you can see the floor, I have a desk that was very well hidden, and cupboards!!!!

Some of the stuff I found as I was clearing out ...
An old 50p coin dated 1969

£15 in cash

This beautiful handmade paper rose that I had forgotten about.

And, the toilet roll coloured in with fluorescent pen. This was created by my sales and marketing team in my old job when our factory could not produce 'natural' shade toilet roll. They wanted to cheer me up as Supply Chain were having a bad year ....

What's New With SHCreations and Hebdens Handmades

Well, just a quick round up really ...

I have recently discovered Tsu, the social networking site that pays you to post, yup, that's right folks, you get paid!!! So, I have been building my profiles on this site and working out how best to use it. I have been on there for aroun 6-7 weeks now and it is going well ... ok, I post a lot and earn 30cents a day ( yes, the site in USD). But, it is a really fun site, none of the cyber bullying you get on other sites, everybody just helping each other to make a few pennies here and there. You can also donate them to charities that are registered with them, so you can post to just donate as well.

I have linked my Hebdens Handmades profile on there to my Facebook page SHCreations. There will be links to all of these scattered around the edge of my post.

My grand plan is to spend time blogging about handmade stuff, whether it be my own or some other fabulous sellers I have found online. Posting the majority on Tsu and extending my reach to help support the handcraft industry, with a few posts landing on my Facebook Page. People seem to enjoy lots of posts on Tsu, but Facebook seems to make people irrate when they see too many.

Anyway, expect to see more blogging from me again, and feel free to use my invite to join Tsu, it is invite only, but you will understand why once you understand the monetisation process. So it is not an exclusive club!!!  But I recommend you get in early as you will miss out on having "children" on there which brings in more money for you. Here are some of the posters they use to explain it.

Well, happy handmaking and hope to read you all soon!
